Shell's Sugar started the way the best things do — with a simple idea and a lot of heart. Shelly had always loved baking, and when she discovered edible ink printing, she saw a way to turn every cookie into a tiny canvas.
From our home kitchen in Redmond, WA, we started making custom cookies for friends and family. Word spread. People kept coming back — not just for the taste, but for the way each cookie captured a moment, a memory, a story.
Today, Shell's Sugar is a cottage food business that's still personal, still handmade, and still all about your story.
Meet Shelly, the Cookie Artist
Shelly is the creative force behind every cookie. She mixes the dough from scratch, designs each print, and hand-packages every order. No two batches are the same — because no two stories are the same.
Her process combines old-fashioned baking with modern edible ink printing technology, creating cookies that are as beautiful to look at as they are to eat.
